I always find myself getting deeper and deeper lost in awe when I surf through your blog. I started somewhere else and will not end here I'm sure. It's so nice to support the studies of fine art with people of our profession. I saw his works in person and they are unbelievable. Again kudos! I have to give a shout out "hi" to Jennifer above, as I relearned from her that same concept some years back. :)Audrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02866998914011542236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-729872479519980598.post-9467733466492670492011-07-16T16:00:21.484-04:002011-07-16T16:00:21.484-04:00What amazing blog! thanks for this! What amazing blog! thanks for this!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-729872479519980598.post-76490296820370969392011-05-21T23:25:01.604-04:002011-05-21T23:25:01.604-04:00I am very impressed with your thoughts on this mat...I am very impressed with your thoughts on this matter and am excited to try the theory out on canvas!

xoxo
Karena
Art by Karena

Come and enter my Great Giveaway from Serena & Lily!

You will love it!Karenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05206642885608991170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-729872479519980598.post-25678423916386603912011-05-17T13:27:39.204-04:002011-05-17T13:27:39.204-04:00Great Article, Caravaggio was a master of light an...Great Article, Caravaggio was a master of light and dark painting, I find your work to be sublime, congratulationsCanadian Artistshttp://www.canadianartists.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-729872479519980598.post-26039116833197342482011-04-17T14:04:09.042-04:002011-04-17T14:04:09.042-04:00I always learn something from you, thank you for sh...I always learn something from you, thank you for sharing.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17511039028086930221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-729872479519980598.post-4833709553588022672011-03-16T19:21:16.342-04:002011-03-16T19:21:16.342-04:00First of all, your sheets of music? I love these lessons of perception of a work of art versus the artist's own version of "fooling the eye". I saw Simon Schama's series a few years ago, "Power of Art". It single-handedly changed how I viewed paintings and the work and life experience it took to create them. My favorite? Caravaggio - I fell in love with the rascal.
